Communities of Practice are groups of people who share a concern or passion for something they do, and who come together regularly to share ideas on how to achieve best practice. They are facilitated by an experienced convenor, solution-focused, and bring together groups bound by shared expertise and passion for a joint enterprise.
“Communities of Practice are the intentional application of how people who care about something that matters learn from and with one another.
They are groups of people with a passion for practice, people who share a desire for improvement, or see a problem that they cannot solve alone, or have a solution that will benefit others, and are willing to share their knowledge.”
