London Women’s Leadership Network

This network aims to create a happier, healthier and more equal workforce forvwomen and men – and to drive an NHS leadership of the future that truly lives and breathes the values of inclusion and diversity. Led by women, for women, and with men; the LLA Women’s Network will champion role-modelling and mentoring between senior female leaders and emerging talent, creating an alternative space that implements L&OD and gender equality concepts in an organisational setting to redress the gender imbalance across the NHS leadership landscape.

This network is open for members, both male and female, to join from across the NHS in London.

The network creates a space for passionate people to come together and think about how to make real change in the NHS. As a network, we wanted to explore some of the hidden barriers the women leaders face, and then work to shift those barriers by promoting and advocating for a more inclusive NHS across London. We offer:

  • Masterclasses and skills workshops around the themes of Confidence, Careers, Compassion and Culture, designed in mind with the challenges women leaders face such as imposter syndrome, gender bias, flexible working, lack of confidence.
  • Digital platform, our members can connect and discuss issues and topics they are passionate about.
  • Mentoring service where our members can request a mentor, through our confidential and tailored matching service. Our mentors are leaders from various backgrounds with a wealth of experience.
