SUMMARY:Coaching and Mentoring EMCC CPD Event - Getting the Most from Supervision
DESCRIPTION:Target Audience: Coach/Mentor practitioner\, Senior Practitioner\, Master Practitioner \nWhat is this event about? \nThe Purpose of the session is to stimulate coaches to consider how they can get (even) more from their meetings with their supervisors. \nWhat will it cover? \n\nA framework for getting the most from your supervision\nEnriching the supervisory relationship\nReviewing your contract with your supervisor or supervisory group: does it cover all it could?\nThe work before the work: reviewing coaching practice and preparing more fully for supervision\nThe rich possibilities of supervisory meetings\nLearning beyond the session and developing the ‘inner supervisor.’\n\nWhy should I attend? \nAs a result of attending this workshop\, we expect coaches to approach supervision better prepared\, to engage with it more creatively and demandingly\, and to be more rigorous in applying the learning from their supervision to their coaching practice – and thus both to enjoy supervision more and gain more benefits from it. \nHow will it run? \nThis will be a participative workshop\, with coaches working in pairs or small groups to generate ideas in response to questions arising from the framework which the presenters will offer. There will therefore be both some input (the initial framework)\, some paired/small group creative work\, and plenary sharing of ideas. The workshop will end with action planning and contracting for mutual support and accountability by the coaches. \nWho will present? \nAndrew Scott is a partner in the Coaching Supervision Partnership\, which he formed (with six other colleagues) after working together to design and work through their own Post-Graduate Level Development programme as supervisors\, which was validated by the ILM to Level 7.  A very experienced coach and supervisor\, he greatly values the supervisory relationship from both sides\, and continues to explore and develop how to make it ever more powerful and enjoyable. \n \nPlease note: \nPlaces are limited so please ensure that if you need to make cancellations you email Jake.Cutting@leadershipacademy.nhs.uk in advance so that your place can be offered to someone else. We will send confirmation of your cancellation by email. Any DNA’s will be monitored and your future bookings may be rejected. \n\n\n \n Coaching and Mentoring: EMCC CPD Getting the Most from Supervision 26/09/2022\n Please complete this form to register a place \n \n Full Name:*Please confirm you are registered as a coach or mentor on the London Register*\n \n Yes\n In order to attend this event\, please note you must be a registered Coach or Mentor on the London Register.Email:*Telephone number:*Your current role:*Organisation*Region:*Please select the region you are based in.LondonSouth East EnglandEast of EnglandMidlandsNorth East EnglandNorth West EnglandOtherICS you are based in:*Please select the ICS you are based in.North East LondonNorth West LondonNorth Central LondonSouth East LondonSouth West LondonNot ApplicableAny other comments:Please indicate any additional requirements or comments.

SUMMARY:Virtual Action Learning Set (VALS) Supervision
DESCRIPTION:VALS  Supervision \nVirtual Action Learning Set (VALS)  Supervision \nOur aim is to build a community of practice who work together to support each other\, continue personal development in ALS facilitation and protect the quality of AL being experienced by health and social care staff. \nAs with coaching\, facilitators work as individuals using their own skills\, experience and presence as the catalyst for others’ learning. Group supervision gives us the opportunity to reflect on our experiences\, learn from others and ask questions to ensure that we are developing the best AL facilitation practice. \nThe supervision sessions will be offered throughout the year and will work with a maximum group of 8 so that there can be full involvement of all. We ask those attending to prepare by reviewing their recent experiences or future opportunities in ALS facilitation and prepare a question that can be discussed with the supervisor and explored with the whole group. It may be around a particular session or a theme that is showing up as a pattern across a series of ALS. \nIt is a confidential\, non-judgemental space where we all learn from the reflective practice about our different experiences. \nYour booking is not confirmed until you have received a confirmation email. Joining instructions will be sent as soon as your booking is confirmed. \nPlatform: Zoom  – Joining instructions TBC \nplease note that London Workforce Colleagues will take preference over the spaces available.
