DESCRIPTION:PLEASE NOTE THIS EVENT IS NOW FULLY BOOKED \nTarget Audience:  \nCoach/Mentor practitioner\, foundation practitioner\, senior practitioner\, master practitioner. \nWhat will it cover? \nKey areas: \n\nAn Exploration of systemic Coaching and how it can be applied in a range of contexts.\nAn Introduction to the 3 core elements that underpin the systemic coaching approach.\nAn Understanding of what makes systemic coaching different.\n\nWhy should I attend? \nBy the end of this workshop\, you will be able to: \n\nExplain how systemic principles can be applied through practical exercises and personal exploration.\nDevelop an understanding of the underlying dynamics of systems.\nKnow how systemic coaching can be applied in different contexts.\n\nHow will the session run? \nThe workshop will be broadly practical and experiential. Participants will be introduced to the systemic Coaching and constellations approach through a series of activities\, e.g. pair exercises and group discussion. \nWho will present? \nThis EMCC CPD will be delivered by Heather Day\, an experienced facilitator and coach who has run a successful coaching practice for over 10 years. Her background is in education where she began her career as a teacher and later as advisor. She trained as a practitioner and facilitator in Systemic Coaching with John Whittington in 2013.  As well as using this approach in her one-to-one client work\, Heather is part of a professional group of systemic coaching facilitators who offer the opportunity for clients to experience the systemic coaching approach. \nBooking Confirmations \nYour booking is not confirmed until you have received a confirmation email. SUMMARY:Continuing Professional Development for HLM Facilitators (November 2021)
DESCRIPTION:Continuing Professional Development for HLM Facilitators   \nThe NHS Leadership Academy are delighted to offer a series of bitesize CPD sessions for accredited Healthcare Leadership Model Facilitators in 2021-22.  With over half of the sessions having taken place\, we look forward to offering the confirmed dates below\, plus sessions to be announced:  \n15 November  \n24 November  \nWith two further days to follow in early 2022.    \nThe sessions are open to all HLM Facilitators\, including those who have not had the opportunity to practice within the past year\, and will take place online using Microsoft Teams. Each will be 90 minutes long\, with a maximum of 20 participants for each session to encourage interactive discussion. All sessions are free to attend.    \nConfirmed dates for the sessions are available to book now using the links above via the NHS England events website\, you will need to register an account with this website to book your place. DESCRIPTION:Self-care for better health care – compassionate leadership for Primary Care Leaders to improve resilience for yourself and your team and improve outcomes for your patients \nWith the ever-growing pressure placed on primary care leaders\, especially those working to support PCNs to develop and thrive\, the London Leadership and Lifelong Learning Team are delighted to be working with Dame Clare Gerada and Doctors in Distress to deliver this webinar for leaders to reflect on the demands of their role and how they practice compassionate leadership for their own well-being and to support their teams to deliver the best care possible for their patients. \nThis webinar will: \n\nFocus on selfcare for leaders\nProvide a safe space to reflect on how to look after yourself and share your experiences with others leaders\nConsider how you can make the most of your personal resources to carry out your role and support your team\nSign post to other resources that can support you to deliver your role\n\nDuring the webinar\, you will hear from Dame Clare Gerada and Dr Ananta Dave about their experiences of leading during the pandemic and their reflections on how they were best able to look after themselves during this time followed by breakout room sessions led by trained facilitators \nDoctors in Distress runs facilitated spaces for all NHS professionals to provide a safe place for them to discuss the emotional impact of their work. Doctors in Distress is passionate about instigating cultural change in the NHS to ensure that it is no longer taboo to discuss mental health. \nThe session will be facilitated by: \n\nDame Clare Gerada is a GP who works in London. She established the Practitioner Health Programme to support doctors and dentists with mental health and associated issues. A former RCGP Chair\, she is currently a member of the BMA Council and co-chair\, with Sir Chris Ham\, of the NHS assembly.\nDr Ananta Dave is Medical Director and Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist at Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists. As a  recipient of the Churchill Fellowship in 2019 she travelled to the United States to study preventing doctor suicides.
