SUMMARY:Learning to Lead in the PCN Environment - January 14th – March 17th 2022 (Fully booked)
DESCRIPTION:The London Leadership and Lifelong Learning Team are delighted to announce this programme for people in new roles in primary care. This programme has been developed for practitioners who are now taking on leadership roles in Primary Care Networks to help meet the health care needs of their local communities. \nIt will provide an opportunity to review your leadership style\, skills to help establish credibility for new roles\, develop relationships across professional groups\, influencing skills  both upwards and downwards and enable you\, as leaders\, to support teams to maximise their personal and professional potential in the changing landscape of the NHS to achieve their goals and find new ways of working together with the whole PCN Team. \nThe programme will consist of four on-line workshops and additional follow up action learning set sessions \nWorkshops will include:  \n\nWorkshop One: Orientation to your role and the Programme (14th Jan)\nWorkshop Two: Understanding and developing your leadership impact (3rd Feb)\nWorkshop Three: Extending your leadership influence (24th Feb)\nWorkshop Four: Leadership in practice (17th March)\n\nStyle of the workshops:  \nAll workshops will be delivered virtually \n\nInteractive and participative.\nA mixture of theory and practical exercises to bring the theory to life and explore the practical application of the techniques and strategies\nThe gaps between contact days will present important opportunities to experiment\, gather real- time data\, receive feedback\, reflect and refine\n\nThis programme also includes follow-on Action Learning sessions intended to allow reconnecting with colleagues\, sharing stories of your experience of putting the skills from the \nworkshop into practice and an opportunity to carry out some further practice with the support of Facilitator.   These additional sessions will take place after the final session\, on dates to be agreed amongst the group. \nThe team co-delivering the workshops are from Practive and Living Potential \n\nPractive and Living Potential are both leadership development consultancies that have been designing and delivering developmental workshops for NHS staff at all levels for many years\nThe team delivering these workshops will be Adam Woodroffe and Louisa Hardman plus colleagues\nFor more information\, visit practive.net and www.livingpotentialconsulting.com\n\nFully booked – we are no longer taking any more applications for Learning to Lead programme.

However to join the waiting list please complete the form below.\nLondon Leadership Academy are delighted to be working with NAPC to deliver this online learning session on population health management and managing health inequalities. \nThe session\, facilitated by Dr Nav Chana\, Annabel Beasley and Andy Mullins from NAPC\, will be providing a practical insight into population health management and managing health inequalities.  By the end of this webinar\, participants should: \n-Be reminded of the social determinants of health and wellbeing \n-Have a base level understanding of population health management – an increasingly important concept behind new care model development \n-Understand how population health management is key to tackling health inequalities \nNational Association of Primary Care (NAPC) is a not-for-profit\, social purpose development and support organisation whose mission is to improve the health and wellbeing of defined populations locally and nationally. \nAnnabel Beasley: Annabel has worked for a large biomedical research charity and the academic sector. For the past 11 years she has been working in the health sector and has a background in workforce\, education\, leadership and developing collaborative networks. \nDr Nav Chana: Nav is a GP in SW London and was instrumental in developing the Primary Care Home model which later became part of NHS national policy as PCNs. He advised NHSE on workforce transformation and developed the concept of Community Education Provider Networks (now Training Hubs) at HEE. Nav is a Non-Executive Director at Kingston Hospital. \nAndy Mullins: Andy has more than 25 years of experience facilitating change across both public\, and private sectors.   His focus for the last 18 years\, has been on the health sector\, but also has experience of working with charities\, public transport\, manufacturing\, and the oil industry. \nFully booked.
