SUMMARY:Guided time to connect and network
DESCRIPTION:*Previously known as “Marketplace Sessions”. Please note that the title has now been updated to “Guided time to connect and network” \nTarget Audience: All Health and social care workforce including voluntary sector \nAs we head into almost two years of working in new and innovative ways it also very apparent these new ways have also brought with them new challenges.  Creating new connections and maintaining existing ones require a newer unique focus as does the need for thinking time\, reflection and problem solving especially with individuals who may have difference and unique perspectives on those issues. To this end the Leadership Academy is hosting a series of engaging sessions that aim to provide protected time to think\, reflect\, create connections and share ideas. \nThis session will begin with an exercise to help participants to connect\, meet and network\, there will be a self-organising activity with time for ‘offer and ask’ for skills\, friendship\, or counsel. There will be time for individual reflection\, group reflection and a communal space for exchanging thoughts\, ideas and possibly even resources and materials. The session is open across all sectors to enable connection and networking opportunities. \nPlatform: Zoom – Joining instructions TBC \nEach of these sessions are standalone you do not have to attend all of them for these to be of benefit \nIf you do not attend without giving us 5 days’ notice a non-attendance fee will be charged according to our terms and conditions. \nTo make cancellations email Jake.Cutting@leadershipacademy.nhs.uk. SUMMARY:Virtual Action Learning Set (VALS) Community of Practice (COP) Supervision
DESCRIPTION:VALS COP Supervision \nVirtual Action Learning Set (VALS) Community of Practice (COP) Supervision \nOur aim is to build a community of practice who work together to support each other\, continue personal development in ALS facilitation and protect the quality of AL being experienced by health and social care staff. \nAs with coaching\, facilitators work as individuals using their own skills\, experience and presence as the catalyst for others’ learning. Group supervision gives us the opportunity to reflect on our experiences\, learn from others and ask questions to ensure that we are developing the best AL facilitation practice. \nThe supervision sessions will be offered throughout the year and will work with a maximum group of 8 so that there can be full involvement of all. We ask those attending to prepare by reviewing their recent experiences or future opportunities in ALS facilitation and prepare a question that can be discussed with the supervisor and explored with the whole group. It may be around a particular session or a theme that is showing up as a pattern across a series of ALS. \nIt is a confidential\, non-judgemental space where we all learn from the reflective practice about our different experiences. \nYour booking is not confirmed until you have received a confirmation email. Joining instructions will be sent as soon as your booking is confirmed. \nPlatform: Zoom  – Joining instructions TBC \nplease note that London Workforce Colleagues will take preference over the spaces available. If enough capacity remains spaces will be provided to external Non-London Workforce Colleagues. \nIf you do not attend without giving us 5 days’ notice a non-attendance fee will be charged according to our terms and conditions. \nTo make cancellations email Jake.Cutting@leadershipacademy.nhs.uk.
