DESCRIPTION:Target Audience: \nCoach/Mentor practitioner\, Senior Practitioner\, Master Practitioner \nWhat is this event about?\nObjective:\nThis event will help both coaches and Mentors to understand the behaviours that are associated with emotional intelligence\, to inform their own approach\, and to support their clients’ development. \nWhat will it cover?\n\nWhy and how Emotionally Intelligent behaviours make a difference\nThe neuropsychology underpinning Emotional Intelligence\nHow to use this knowledge to improve one’s own effectiveness\nHow to help clients to use this knowledge\n\nWhy should I attend?\nOutcome:\nBy the end of this workshop\, coaches and Mentors will have a richer understanding of behavioural aspects of Emotional Intelligence\, and how to use that understanding in practice for the benefit of themselves and their clients. \nWho will present?\nAndrew Scott is a freelance facilitator and coach\, running his own consultancy for the last 35 years\, and has worked with blue chip organisations ranging from Prudential to Procter & Gamble\, as well as several Universities and not-for-profit organisations. Andrew is also one of the seven founding partners of the Coaching Supervision Partnership\, and the author of Shifting Stories – how changing their stories can transform people. \nAndrew has long been interested in – and worked with – Goleman’s work on Emotional Intelligence\, using it both to inform his own approach to coaching and facilitation\, and helping clients to apply EI to their work. He is a qualified user of the Genos suite of EI assessment and feedback tools. \nAndrew’s facilitation is characterised by alternating a clear and stimulating presentation style\, with near-invisible ‘holding of the space’ when participants are co-creating their own learning. \nBooking Confirmations\nYour booking is not confirmed until you have received a confirmation email.
