To this end the Leadership Academy is hosting a series of engaging sessions that aim to provide protected time to think\, reflect\, create connections and share ideas. \nThis session will begin with an exercise to help participants to connect\, meet and network\, there will be a self-organising activity with time for ‘offer and ask’ for skills\, friendship\, or counsel. Alongside this\, of course\, we have enabled NHS staff to become accredited coaches\, mentors and facilitators\, so that they are then able to work with other people across the service to support them in their development. \nAfter 18 months of the pandemic\, we are even more mindful of the significance of voice in organisations. To this end\, we are convening this meeting for people who have come through one of our programmes to come together to explore the role that voice plays in their practice – and the ways in which that practice can be enhanced to work on the issue of voice better. \nThe event will run virtually via MS Teams on 9 March 2022 from 1pm – 3.30pm. We are delighted to advise that we will be joined for a keynote presentation by Henrietta Hughes\, who was until recently the Freedom To Speak Up National Guardian. She will offer some reflections on her time in that role – and some suggestions as to the work that remains outstanding. \nWe are also excited to be able to offer a number of breakout sessions\, covering topics such as the voice of the user or client and the practicalities of voice;.
