Talking Systems – Organisations as Living Systems

We speak about system working a great deal, which is entirely appropriate in that it offers a way for us to think creatively about delivery of health and social care.

Two things demand that innovative approach of us all: First, there is the ambition to wrap services around service users more effectively is essential to support a more responsive provision. Second, refocusing on population health is key to this – and to addressing wider issues of health inequalities in society.

For this “In conversation…” session, we will be discussing with Manoj Pawar his experiences as a doctor and as a clinical leader in the US. He will offer his observations through the prism of “living systems”, drawing observations from his medical background in order to explore his leadership practice.
