Coaching and Mentoring CPD – The Mystery of Coaching Mastery

Understanding mastery is vital for any coach who wishes to become expert at what they do. Competences are powerful indicators but they don’t capture the life and elegance of the ‘master’ coach at work. Parallel worlds like music, art and sport do however offer some powerful insights for the coach.

This event will provide you with a working model of mastery, drawing on those parallel worlds and on research into mastery. It will enable you to take stock of your current level of expertise and think through how you develop further.

Who will present?

This EMCC CPD Event will be presented by Dr Stephen Burt is an experienced coach, writer and presenter. He has coached leaders across the private and public sectors since 2002.

Stephen has a strong commitment to reflective practice and writes in Coaching at Work and in other journals and publishes a well-regarded blog. He is a keen musician and tennis player and frequently draws on these parallel worlds for insights into coaching, leadership, performance and change.
