The 2024 NHS Women of Colour Conference has now taken place – and what an incredible success it was. Held on 19th June, the event brought together hundreds of inspiring colleagues for a powerful day of connection, learning, and celebration.
We know many were disappointed not to secure a ticket this year due to overwhelming demand. Please know we hear you – and we’re actively exploring ways to share the experience more widely and create future opportunities for those who missed out.
Under the theme Still I RISE, inspired by Maya Angelou’s iconic poem, we honoured the resilience, determination, and leadership of Women of Colour across the NHS. From dynamic keynote speakers and thought-provoking panel discussions, to empowering workshops and moving stories – the day was filled with moments to remember.

In celebration of Black History Month, we are delighted to announce the launch of the NHS Women of Colour Newsletter, an empowering new platform created to uplift, connect, and inspire women of colour across the NHS in London.
