Marketplace 1: Space to think
Target Audience: All Health and social care workforce including voluntary sector
As we head into almost two years of working in new and innovative ways it also very apparent these new ways have also brought with them new challenges. Creating new connections and maintaining existing ones require a newer unique focus as does the need for thinking time, reflection and problem solving especially with individuals who may have difference and unique perspectives on those issues. To this end the Leadership Academy is hosting a series of Marketplace sessions that aim to both support you, connect and challenge you. This will be a virtual marketplace for exchange and sharing of ideas, solutions, skills, and resources.
These will be expertly facilitated sessions with time and space for people across the workforce in London to come together to think about and discuss pressing issues. This session will begin with time for quiet individual reflection, group reflection and time for ‘offer and ask’ for skills, friendship, or counsel. An opportunity to undertake a journaling activity and self-coaching to consider current challenges from new perspectives. There will be a self-organising activity whereas a collective you decide the priorities for discussion. This exercise will then shape and inform the agenda for the future marketplace sessions. The session is open across all sectors to enable connection and networking opportunities.
