Launch of Leading for System Change

A free senior leadership opportunity to enhance confidence and skills to address complex cross-sector challenges

We’re excited to share details of our latest development programme: Leading for System Change. This six-month initiative is designed for senior leaders (Assistant Director/Director level) working across sectors to develop their system leadership skills and tackle complex challenges collaboratively.

Who Should Apply?

This programme is open to leaders from:

  • The NHS,
  • London Councils, and
  • The Voluntary, Community, Faith, and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) sectors.

It’s ideal for those passionate about driving positive social change, reducing health inequalities, and fostering collaboration to deliver a shared programme of work.

Programme Details

Duration: 6 months
Start Date: Spring 2025
Structure: Participants will work in groups of eight, guided by expert facilitators. Sessions are designed as a convening space to foster learning through shared priorities rather than traditional teaching. Key dates include:

  • Launch session (online): Friday, 14th March (10:30–12:00)
  • In-person sessions:
    • Thursday, 20th March
    • Thursday, 10th April
    • Tuesday, 13th May
    • Tuesday, 10th June
    • Tuesday, 15th July
    • Thursday, 4th September

How to Apply

Submit an expression of interest via the application form, including a 500-word personal statement explaining your motivation for joining. Applications require endorsement from your Chief Executive or equivalent.
